What a hidden gem this place is!! We were recommended to try it out & I’m so glad we went. The food was great, very reasonably priced & portions definitely bigger than expected. The staff were so friendly, & even though it got very busy while we were there, the staff still took the time to check on us to make sure there was nothing else we needed & that we were happy with our order.

Incredible dumplings and food out West! We have loved Chinese Noodle House for years, but since moving out to the mountains have lacked some good, authentic dumplings until now. Food was delicious, the service was amazing and so hospitable to us (allowing us to decorate with balloons and streamers and even delivering each plate of dumplings with a candle - hilarious!) and all at a very reasonable price - thank you so much!!

This restaurant is the best place I have ever and will ever be to. The best home made and fresh Chinese food, that keeps us coming back for more. We have been so many times now and have NEVER been disappointed. 10/10 food and the service is incredible!! I couldn’t recommend it more!!

My wife and I love dumplings. And in all the dumpling places we’ve been to in Newcastle, in the Hunter Region and in the CBD, Chinese Dumpling Dynasty reigns supreme. This was the first time we found Chinese food that’s a) relatively cheap, b) really, really tasty and c) very generous in their servings. We like xiao long bao and prawn dumplings and CDD really does it well. We’ll be happy just eating dumplings here, but we tried their fried spare ribs, cooked so fresh the sizzle still sings to your soul. We ordered broccoli to pretend like we’re healthy people, and they served a dish which looks to contain like a whole HEAD of fresh broccoli! Really tasty too! To complete the experience we ordered fried rice which was really filling. We tried to finish everything but alas, the serving sizes were too big for us we had to take half of them home. We will definitely come back!

Really enjoyed the food. The service was slow, only one person serving and waiting tables. One of the dishes ordered was not bought out. We had eaten enough and once questioned, we were not charged but that's not the point really. We were seated before the table was set and the table was sticky. You need to take your atmosphere with you and enjoy the food because it is good.
